Sports Engine Access, Schedules & Syncing Calendars

It is important all parents are on SportsEngine to see the teams most up to date schedule. 

We manage our practices, games and communications through SE, the system you registered for the season.  To access the Team page & Calendar you must be logged into SportsEngine using the account you used to register your child for the season, or be linked to your child. You will also be able to sync the schedule with your calendar.  Please always use your EXISTING SportsEngine Account and existing player record to register. Do not set up a new account or player record as it will cause rostering and team notification problems.

Please note that SE is a 3rd party tool and the Cyclones do not have access to update emails or merge accounts.

Not seeing your Team: Please note, that some parents may not see their child's team or calendar in the SE App. If you do not see your team's calendar please try the following:

  • make sure you are logged in to SportsEngine with the correct account, that is the account you registered your child for the season;
  • ensure you are linked to your child's profile (see below for adding a parent/guardian);
  • update SE to this season's team for your child

The parent or guardian that registered the child will need to update SportsEngine by searching the following in the SportsEngine Help:

To access SportsEngine Team & Calendar please make sure you are logged in to SportsEngine with the correct account to access your child's team and schedule, ensure you are linked to your child's profile and have updated SE to this season's team for your child. How to Add Guardians and Others to have access  - To add another parent/guardian. The parent that registered the player needs to log into SE and invite the other parent to be a guardian. To add a guardian please follow the instructions that can be found online at How to Add a Guardian (link)

Duplicate Player & Add Guardian

SportsEngine is a 3rd party application and the NYC Cyclones does not have access to make changes to accounts.

The problem is that there are two records for your child used for different registrations. There should only be one record for each player in SportsEngine and that is why you can not see the team. 

To fix the problem please complete the following:

1.  The account owner, that is the parent that registered the player for the season, needs to add any guardian. To add a guardian please follow the instructions that can be found online at  How to Add a Guardian (link)

2. The next step is to merge the two profiles for the player. Once you have access to the other profile you should see 2 records for your child.  How to Merge Duplicate Athlete Profiles (link).
