Casey got her start at Sky Rink Chelsea Piers and the Cyclones

Casey O'Brien, member of the gold medal-winning 2018 U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team at the IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship in Dmitrov, Russia got her start at Sky Rink Chelsea Piers. Casey stated "While we were competing at worlds in Dmitrov, Russia, before our semifinal game, our coaches had us take some time to think about and thank the people who have supported us throughout our hockey careers. I thought back to where it all started: Chelsea Piers. It’s where I learned to skate with Alana Blahoski, learned to play the game in house league and then joined my first travel team, the Cyclones. I’m extremely grateful to all of my coaches and teammates with who I had the opportunity to play with there."
